Camerawork

What camera shot is this?

Mid shot?

Why do you think they’ve chosen this shot type?

I think that they have chosen this type of shot because it shows confidence in the movie and it is showing his gun therefore going with the initial 007. It also considers the film asa serious because when people think of a gun they don’t just think of a gun they think of danger, serious, death, and maybe the colour black. When people start to think of danger it can mean thats is what the film sums around.

Mise-en-scene

Clothing- the clothing he is wearing suggest that he maybe a spy because he is wearing mostly black, and as you can see the many pockets on his trousers which suggests that he has got many things in them.

Props- as you can clearly see their is a gun which he is holding and has another gun on his trousers? which again promps that the movie involves violence and usually death therefore the main props you can see is a gun

Facial expression- as you can see he has a serious facial expression this then leads you again to think this isn’t going to be the happiest of movies

Background- in the background its got quite a dark feel to it and in the background they have the initial 007 in quite a bold blue colour to make it really stand out

Soundtrack

Diegetic sounds-

The car , the gun , the sound of the rock unclipping, the sound of the window , the sound of the explosion , the sound of the plane , the sound of the door closing on the car. I think that they have included some loud sound of the guns and fast driving cars to introduce the sense of fear and surprise in the film

This kind of film poster suggest that the film is going to be uplifting, this is shown in the characters facial expressions. As you can see the main 2 characters are smiling which suggest they are having a good time therefore this makes up think that the film is going to be uplifting and joyful to watch. Also as you can see the setting of the picture is in a restaurant which usually means that the film is going to be set in the restaurant and base around that type of setting. The shot type is seen as a long shot because people probably wouldn't want to watch a film if the front cover had a rat on it but adding the extra background shows that the film is going to involve cooking and will have humour in it. The font is an fun choice as seen as a fun font which suggest that the film is going to be fun because if the font what a dark bold font it would suggest the film to be serious. Lastly the props they have chosen again suggests that the film is going to be about cooking and will be a fun child friendly film which means that it will be fun and uplift your mood.

Editing

There are many CGI scenes when sand monsters were falling on top of the actors, also many of the alien looking characters where like holograms when they were killed. There was also flying ships in the sky which you could see where CGI. There was definitely alot of digital editing, also the type of CGI suggested that it wasn't set in the UK or anything it shows that it could be fantasy.

camera work

there was alot of midshot and close up shots. the midshots showed the different costumes and a sense of the film showing us the main characters and showing popular actors which will intrigue the audience lots of astabliging  shots showing us the setting of the movie

In the Dunes trailer editing is used effectively to intrigue the audience into watching the film. For example the editing uses CGI to make the movie different to others because the likely is that more people want to watch a film based in a fantasy world instead of a boring beige background. This creates the impression that the film is going to be action seeing the film shaking and space ships in the sky, it just looks more interesting to a much bigger audience to watch. It also suggests to the audience that it will be creative and interesting shown in the CGI in creative vehicles movements in the ground and this will just intrigue the audience more or likely

In the Dunes trailer camera work is used effectively to the audience to surprise the audience in the different shot types made in the film. For example establishing shots are used to make the movie interesting because it is showing the type of

Camerawork: there are many close up shots of the main actor deadpool himself when he is taking a serious matter in a funny way
